Paci Update

Well, I couldn't stop getting up in the night to give him his paci back. I have tried putting the paci where he can find it, but the problem is the kid won't even open his eyes and attempt to find it lol. So we will wait until he is older to deal with it.
The one thing we did discover, that seems to maybe be helping, is these paci/chew toys from Tommee Tippee. I am so in love with these! Seth has a tendency to chew on the back side of his paci, and has even gotten them stuck in his mouth before. This was a major worry for us!
This particular one looks like a retainer on the other side. He is able to hold it, and chew without getting his fingers in his mouth. With a normal paci he had half a paci and two fingers in his mouth at all times. These two fingers are so sore! I was thankful to have something that he could think was a paci, but would keep those fingers out of his mouth.

At first I didn't think Seth would go for this one at all! It looks painful! It took him a little while to figure it out, but now he loves it! The green part is soft and it is large so he can hold it and twist it and chew his little heart out!

We now go everywhere with both of these and a regular paci. I know it is crazy, but it works. We have tried all kinds of teethers. He will chew on Sophie the Giraffe, but she is big and the dog likes to steal her. Plus she makes too much noise at night.

Cool! I've never seen a paci like that! I bet he will like Sophie more when he gets a little older...it took Hudson a while to warm up to her. ;)
