The one thing we did discover, that seems to maybe be helping, is these paci/chew toys from Tommee Tippee. I am so in love with these! Seth has a tendency to chew on the back side of his paci, and has even gotten them stuck in his mouth before. This was a major worry for us!
This particular one looks like a retainer on the other side. He is able to hold it, and chew without getting his fingers in his mouth. With a normal paci he had half a paci and two fingers in his mouth at all times. These two fingers are so sore! I was thankful to have something that he could think was a paci, but would keep those fingers out of his mouth.
At first I didn't think Seth would go for this one at all! It looks painful! It took him a little while to figure it out, but now he loves it! The green part is soft and it is large so he can hold it and twist it and chew his little heart out!

Cool! I've never seen a paci like that! I bet he will like Sophie more when he gets a little older...it took Hudson a while to warm up to her. ;)
p.s. hope everyone is feeling better at your house! :(
