I am sooo excited for Thursday I just can't stand myself!
However, I haven't been feeling to hot these past couple of days. I tried once again to go without my Zofran this weekend, and I have about decided I'm not ever going without it again!!! My new pregnancy symptom is dizziness!!! I use to think people just made this one up so that they could lay around all day, but yesterday I got soooo dizzy I was afraid to be alone. My Mom and I had my brothers kids all weekend, and I decided to cook chicken and dumplings for lunch after church. So Mom is sitting in my living room holding Alex, Emma is asleep in my bed, Jordan is outside cleaning Mom's car, and I am in the kitchen cooking. All of a sudden it hit me! I yelled at Mom that I couldn't finish lunch. I went and sat at the table just praying that I wouldn't black out. Mom said, she had never seen me turn so white, and considering I look like Casper I can only imagine how pale I was. This spell lasted several minutes and ended with me over the trash can :) So I went and cleaned up and then I thought OK I am better after being sick. Um NO every time I got up to do anything I got so dizzy I had to sit back down. This lasted for hours. I did feel better towards late afternoon, but I felt so bad that my sweet hubby stayed home and babied me last night :) I am feeling some better today, but I still feel woozy when I am walking or standing.

i duno if this is your case, but i took Phenergan EVERY day during the first trimester(didn't think i could live without it). I thought it was making me better(which it did for a while), but eventually i actually started getting the "side effects" of the medicine(including nausea!). so it was actually making me worse. i stopped taking it, and the side effects went away(including the nausea! and other bad things). i got really sick for a day after stopping it, but it was uphill from there. maybe you could try it. oh, and maybe you need more h2O...i read that dizziness can be caused by low blood pressure which can be caused by dehydration(and of course pregnancy). drinking a few more glasses of water a day couldn't hurt! (i usually find it helps with whatevers troubling me anyway)-jess M
My Dr. did say to drink a gallon of water a day. I have been trying to do this since last week, but OMG that keeps me going potty all day long :). I am out of Zofran as of today, and I am going to try to go a couple of days without it just to see. It does have some side effects, but I haven't been nausiated at all when I take it. I also think if I can take an pepcid AC or something like that at night I might be ok. It seems that my cause of nausia is all the acid in my stomach that builds up at night.
