The number 20 has never been so exciting to me! My 20th birthday wasn't a happy one. I really didn't want to grow up and not be a teenager anymore. That is kinda where my dislike for 20 came from. Anyways, Today I begin week 20! I am feeling great and I am still maintaining my prepregnancy weight :) I am really excited/nervous about this. I am just waiting to wake up one day and have gained 10lbs overnight, but my Dr. is very encouraging and doesn't want me to gain much until my third trimester.
I am eating all day long now, and I have come off of Zofran! I have been off of it for 1 week, and I am proud to say I have only been sick twice. I have also found that drinking water controls my dizzy spells. Whenever I feel slighly dizzy I just drink a glass of cold water, and it magically makes me feel better :). My new issue which, I knew would come, but I am not happy with, is that I can no longer sleep on my belly :(. Last night when I rolled over Miller went CRAZY!!!! He wouldn't stop kicking me until I rolled back to my side. I can really feel alot more movement these past couple of days and the kicks/punches are much stronger. I can't wait for Jordan to finally feel him. He tries to when he is kicking really strong, but so far you can't feel them from the outside. I know its early, but we still try.
The baby's name has remained the same for over a week now, Miller David Gist. I had a hard time adjusting to Miller. I don't know why, but it just doesn't feel right. Jordan has convinced me that it will grow on me, and that he loves it. So I am trusting him. We are still working on what to use for bedding in the nursery, but we did register at Target this weekend. Jordan really got in to this way more than he did when we got married. I had to stop him from registering for things that were just plain silly! We also have begun hanging all of the baby clothes we have. It seems like we have more than enough clothes for the little guy, and I still have all of Alex's clothes to get and go through. I don't think there will be another boy in town with as many clothes as Miller.
