Let's see how big my hands and feet can get!

So I am now 33 weeks, and I have been swelling since the end of March. Of course this swelling has previously gone down with the simple act of laying down with my feet elevated, well not anymore. Nothing helps. My feet and ankles are huge and so are my hands. I am now experiencing carpel tunnel in my right hand to the point that my thumb hurts and my fingers are numb! Sadly there isn't much that can be done about it. I am just going to have to toughen up. I am slammed at work this week with reorganizing a database so that doesn't help the numb hands. Other than that I feel good. The maintenance guys at work finally got my office air conditioning working. I came in this morning to a nice freezing 70 degree office! It is so much better than the 80plus I have had the past month. I was about to have to really cause a fuss if they didn't do something. A swollen hot pregnant woman isn't too much fun! I am trying to be nice, but its hard when you don't want to do anything but lay in bed and eat. My appetite has definitely taken off lately. A coworker commented yesterday about how much he has enjoyed watching my progression of snacks. I was like what do you mean? He said I started with fruit and cottage cheese and now I am on to bags of cheese puffs (followed by a laugh). I had to explain to him that I had eaten fudge cookies and kool aid at home, followed by a bag of grapes, and then I moved on to the cheese puffs. I have eaten like this all week. I just can't get full so I stocked up on fruits and veggies so I have healthy snacks around all the time. I am also going to try to make it to Jack-O-Lantern farms tomorrow and pick up some fresh produce. I hear they have local strawberries!!!

On another note my Mom is home! I think she is more excited than I am to be home. She is definitely ready to have this baby here. She knitted him a blanket while she was on vacation, and has started a second one and some booties for him. I will share pictures of all Mimi's creations when she is done with them. Mimi's stuff isn't perfect, but he will cherish it, because his Mimi made it.

We have had one shower, and we have two more coming up the first week of June. I am just going to wait and have one post about all of them. We are so blessed to be surrounded by family and friends who love us and baby Seth. What an overwhelming feeling of love! Now I must get back to my database BLAH!
