I love the month of June... Well usually! This year June isn't so much my friend. It is already so hot in Alabama that you are wasting your time by drying your hair or putting on makeup, and the fact that I am 34.5 weeks pregnant doesn't help. I have decided that Baby Gist #2 will be born in March. We will never have another summer child if I have any control over it. I still feel good, I just am swelling and the heat doesn't help. They did however get my A/C working in my office! So now it is freezing at 70 in here and not 82.
I'm so glad its Friday! I plan on spending my weekend with this sweet girl.

This picture is from her awards day this week. She was the top Accelerated Reader in the 4th grade and the 3rd in her entire school! I am a very very proud Aunt!!! I will try to keep my emotions together this weekend. It is just hard for me to imagine not being able to give my full attention to my other babies. Savannah is now old enough that she loves helping with little ones, and is super excited about Baby Seth. She has moved past her fears of me not loving her anymore. I am going to try to spoil her just a little this weekend. This will be our last weekend together before Seth is born. I know things will never be the same, but Savannah Lynn was my first baby, and she is sooo special to me. OMG now I am crying. I am crazy! I also know that I have about 2 years at the most until she wants nothing to do with me. She is growing up WAY too fast!
Back to our weekend. Vicki and Savannah are coming to Florence tomorrow. McLain won't be coming with them, because he gets to go camp out on the battleship in Mobile (Yes I am jealous). So it will just be the girls. This is probably the only time they have come without him in his long 8 years. We are having my family baby shower on Sunday at the church, so I am sure Saturday night will be full of making final touches on shower things. Then on Monday I have my baby shower at work. Vicki, Savannah, and Emma are coming to my work shower since they will all be in town. Now my coworkers will see how alike my entire family looks haha. I hope to get lots of cute pictures this week and post some next week. We also plan to finish Seth's room up while my sister is in town. I am waiting until after Monday's shower to finish it just to see what all we end up with.
I hope everyone has a great weekend, and does something fun to stay cool! I am dreaming of a big plastic pool on my desk with a bag of sand in the bottom and little lawn chair sitting in the water just for me :) I told Jordan that this is what me and Sophie girl need for the heat. Let's see if we get our wish. I'm sure the neighbors will love us for this redneck makeshift beach!
