I haven't been to the Dr. since I was 35.5 weeks, and at that point I hadn't dilated. My BP was 122/80 which is still normal, but it was up a lot from the time before. I think it's because I was running late and that stressed me out. I had gained 1 lb. Which made my total around 18 I think. I am pretty proud of that! Especially considering how much I am swelling. I feel like about 5 lbs is all from swelling.
I go back to the Dr. this Friday, and I can't wait! I know I get one more ultrasound, and I am hoping she will schedule that for early next week. I have started to have a little bit of contractions, and of course I don' think they are real. They come and go and are very irregular. I was just excited to feel a little something since I haven't been having any.
Both of my hands are now numb. I don't know how much longer I can work because of this. It really hurts to use the mouse all day. It hurts to hold onto anything at this point. I can barely eat my cereal at night, because I have to take breaks for my hands to uncramp. I am trying to wrap up two projects at work this week so that I can relax. My current plan is to work this week and next week, and then take vacation the week of the 4th, and then start maternity leave on July 11. This would put me coming back to work the first Monday in October. I just think that is much easier for the men around here to remember than a random day in the middle of the week/month. Plus I am tired of taking shower every day and putting on makeup. If you have seen me wondering around you fully know this by looking at me :). I do shower if I leave the house, but I don't put on makeup. I mean seriously I look like such a slob!
On a happy note. Jordan finished the nursery last night. All we have lacked for sometime now was hanging pictures. I am charging my camera battery so that I can take pictures of it for y'all. It turned out cute, and it is so strange to go by there and see it done. Jordan loves to turn on the lamp in Seth's room and turn off the overhead light. He says it makes it seem like it is really his room. Baby Seth's hospital bag is all packed and ready to go! Now if I can finish packing mine. I have put the essential in like clean undies and PJ's. Hopefully by the end of the week I will be completely ready to head to the hospital. I have the carseat and all the other stuff for the car stacked up in the dining room waiting for Jordan to carry it outside. If it cools off this week I may just do it myself.
Have a happy Tuesday!!! At least it's not Monday :)
