The First Month

This post is WAY overdue!!! The first month of Seth's life is all a blur. I let the weeks fly by with little sleep and little memory of exactly what went on. We had lots of company and Seth got to meet so many of our wonderful friends and family. I am just going to post some random pictures of the first month.

You had people lined up in L&D waiting to see you. Everyone thought surely you had come by now!

Sweet Emma couldn't wait to get her hands on "my baby Seth" as she calls you. I have never seen an almost 3 year old be so in love.

Uncle Paul finally got to hold baby Seth. Of course Emma was still standing guard of her baby.

Pappy loves his new little one. Baby Seth is not as wild as Sam (yet!).

And here come the Gist's!

My first best friend and my other mother came by to get some lovin. We had to watch them, because they tried to kidnap the baby.

A knock on the door led to surprise visitors from Huntsville. Auntie MarLa and Patricia!!!

About to go home for the first time. I just love those little baby hands!

And those little baby toes!!! Seth always held his toes together like they were hands. Mimi says he prays with his feet.

Granny had to leave the hospital on the day of birth, because it was so late at night when I got to recovery. So she didn't get to hold Seth until the next week when she came to visit. This is one proud Great-Grandmother.

More baby feet...

Taking a nap in the big crib for the first time.

Since Seth was born during the summer the big kids got to come visit alot. Savannah didn't want to go home. She asked if she could move to Florence and be home schooled so she could take care of Baby Seth everyday.

Sweet boy at one week old!

McLain just really is excited to have a boy to play with. He is starting early on the video games! I am not a fan of this.

I am a fan of this kind of play time.

Auntie Janna came to visit. You can't tell but she has Baby Andrew in her tummer.

Aunt Brittany is finally getting to hold Seth. Of course, Baby Sam isn't a fan of this!!!

Sam says, "Can we return him".

Cousin Alex and Mimi love to hold the baby.

Bigger baby feet.

First bath with Mommy and Daddy. Can you tell we have never bathed a baby this small, and that Mommy lived in PJs for a few weeks :)

OOO I think Baby Seth likes bath time!

Playing in the crib.

Mimi came over to play dress up. Actually to go to the

Dr. Getting ready to go to Granny's house for the first time. Granny was the first place we took Baby Seth other than the pediatricians office.

Daddy watching TV while his boys nap.

Orville really loves the baby!

One month old...
