In early summer 2009 Jordan and I decided it was time for a change. We were not sure where this change would take us, but we were sure we needed it. I began the search for a new job, and luckily found one that brought us back to our home town of Florence, Al. The hardest part of this move was leaving behind my brother and his family. You see they lived just two miles from our house in East Limestone and my sweet niece was a part of our daily lives. Well since we have moved we bought a house just across the highway from our parents, and sweet Emma gets to come visit Yaya and JJ anytime we are free. We usually try to get her at least once a month. (I asked for full custody, but her parents said NO!). Emma also welcomed her new baby brother into the world this summer and we really wish we could see him everyday like we did when she was a baby. It won’t be long before brother Alex gets to come along for a weekend to Yaya’s house!
On August 5th Emma turned two and we celebrated in Florence. Here is a picture of Em in her bday swimsuit

This past weekend Emma came back for a visit, and we played outside enjoying the nice cool air. She enjoyed coloring with chalk at and rolling on the soft green grass.
