Today I want to wish everyone a Happy Veterans Day! I am so thankful for the men and women who have fought for our freedom. I personally am grateful to my Grampa, Dad, Uncles, and Cousin-in-law, and a few very special friends who have served our country.
I am also sharing with you a picture of my Mother's parents, my Gram and Grampa, that was taken when they lived in San Diego just shortly after they were married. Grampa was serving in the Navy while she taught school. Growing up I never knew this picture existed. I found it when we were getting pictures together for his funeral, and I have cherished it ever since.
