Surprise!

Monday November 1 was a very special day this year. This day is always special because it is Jordan's birthday, but this year he got the gift he has dreamed of. I went to work on this day because my brother and his family stayed with mom. When I got off work I went to Mom's house and Emma begged to go to Yaya's house. So with Mom's ok I packed her up and went to my house. Jordan had a couple of the guys over to watch football and play pingpong which is pretty normal for our house so Emma played with them and ran around for a little bit and then she started begging for a bubble bath PLEASE!!! So I gave in again and put her in the bubble bath. While she was playing I thought to myself I should take a pregnancy test. I should have started on Sunday so I always take tests if I am not running on time. Well to my surprise this test had a light blue line. I freaked. I texted my sister in law to see if that was normal for test to have a very very light line she said YES. I texted Jordan and said get in here now! After 5 seconds I texted him again and said HURRY!!!! I just handed him the test. And he looked at me and said "Is this my birthday surprise?". Bless him he thought I had known all day, but I hadn't. So the next morning Emma in tow I headed to the CVS for some digital ones. I need to read it! Well they said pregnant. So I called the OBGYN and got an appointment for Wednesday. They confirmed we were almost 5 and a half weeks. WOW WE MADE IT MONTH is what I thought hahaha. So Jordan and I have now informed our family and most of our closest friends. We really can't keep a secret. We will go back on Dec. 9 for an ultrasound and I can't wait! I will inform my work after the ultrasound, but I just had to blog about it. We always have someone's kids at our house so it will be slightly different to have our own, but we both feel very prepared.
