I now have 235 days to go! OMG that sounds like so so long, but I know it will fly by.
Yesterday I joined babyfit.com. This site is by Sparkpeople which I have used in the past to log my calories and exercise. These sites are simple to use and FREE! Ok so here was my concern when I was logging my food for yesterday. Babyfit says I should be eating 2210 - 2510 calories a day! I just don't see how it is possible to eat that much and eat healthy at all! I even ate Captain D's for lunch yesterday and was no where near reaching 2210. I know my body has plenty of fat that it can use if I am not eating enough calories, but I think that is a question I will have for the Dr. next month. Another concern I have is swapping from Diet Coke to grape juice. For years I have only drank things with 0 calories but now I am drinking juice all day long that is almost 200 calories a serving. I did however find Welch's light grape juice which is only 50 calories, and it is almost as good as the bad stuff. I am being very careful to only buy 100% fruit juices that don't have added sugar. I just don't like the idea of my calories coming from liquids, but maybe this can help me reach 2210.
I still have very few symptoms. I am slightly nausiated this morning, but I think it is because of sinus drainage and the lack of Diet Coke :) I really miss my Diet Coke if you can't tell. I know I can have some, but it is easier to give up the addiction than to just have a little.

I think it will be really hard to get that many calories in the first trimester. I was so sick and when I wasn't sick all I wanted to do was sleep. Towards the end...yeah...I ate that many calories. :o)
I wouldn't worry about the juice/calories. Your body needs the extra calories and I'd rather get them from juice than a Big Mac, you know?
I'm so excited for you!! And I love the new blog design. :)
My doc said you only need to add about 300 calories to your diet when you're pregnant. I used babyfit.com and babycenter.com with my 1st pregnancy, but was so sick that it did me no good. I lost weight my 1st trimester...but easily gained it all back, and then some, my 2nd and 3rd. And like I said last night at Bunko - this time I don't care :) I am okay with being fat and happy for the next 7 months! I mean, it's probably my last time to have this opportunity! :)
