Jordan and I have talked about our children sine long before we were married. We were never in any rush to have them, but we always knew when we were ready God would give us a baby.
So me being a girl part of this talk included the nursery. Of course I haven't picked actual paint chips yet :) but I know what I want to do if it is a girl or a boy.
The week we found out I started looking more seriously at nursery furniture, because I knew this would be the most expensive purchase we have to make at one time during this planning process. While talking to my SIL, who happens to work at JC Penney, she informed me that she could get me the crib I wanted for $200! Well that was such a good deal that I decided just to order the whole furniture set. We were able to get the whole room for under $600! I love a good deal!!! Yesterday the catalog desk and JC Penney called and our furniture is in. I know it is WAY too early to put it in the house, but we will pick it up this weekend and place Baby Ray's new furnishings safely in the garage for a couple months. I am excited to see the furniture in person though. It is kind of scary to order from catalogs when it comes to furniture.

Wow! $600! That's amazing! Gosh, our crib alone was about $400. If we weren't going to reuse our crib for baby #2, I'd be begging Britney for some discounts :)
